UCCAU - Official Terms and Conditions

1. Legal Terms

UCCAU is a non-profit, non-governmental body registered under applicable local/state laws.

All participants and board members agree to abide by UCCAU's conditions, policies, and code of conduct.

Disputes or legal issues arising out of UCCAU activities will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local civil courts.

Any form of misconduct (verbal abuse, match-fixing, harassment, etc.) will result in immediate disqualification and permanent blacklisting.

2. Financial Terms

UCCAU's treasurer shall maintain transparent accounting, and an annual financial audit will be conducted.

Entry fees, sponsorship funds, and team contributions shall be recorded and reported quarterly.

No board member shall use UCCAU funds for personal or business purposes.

Players will bear their own team expenses unless sponsored. Financial assistance, if offered, must be approved by the board.

3. Copyright & Branding

The name “UCCAU”, its logo, and all associated branding, tournament names, and digital media are the intellectual property of the association.

Any use of UCCAU branding by third parties (teams, sponsors, media) must have prior written permission.

Photography, videography, and broadcasting rights of tournaments are exclusively owned by UCCAU.

No individual or team is allowed to claim or commercialize any UCCAU-related content without official approval.

4. Tournament Rules

Only non-professional (amateur) cricketers are allowed to participate in UCCAU tournaments.

Any player currently affiliated with state/national teams or professional leagues (IPL, Ranji, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

Team rosters must be submitted 10 days prior to the tournament.

Each team must follow fair play, wear proper gear, and obey match officials.

Alcohol, doping, and smoking are banned in all match venues. Violation leads to disqualification.

UCCAU Conditions

A. For Board Members

Eligibility:
  • Must be 25 years or older.
  • Must have experience in corporate cricket or organizational leadership.
Roles:
  • President: Overall leadership and final decision-making.
  • Treasurer: Financial management and reporting.
  • Secretary: Record keeping and correspondence.
  • Tournament Head: Planning and executing events.
  • Ethics Officer: Handling grievances and enforcing code of conduct.
Term:

Board tenure is 3 years, renewable by vote.

Code of Conduct:
  • No conflict of interest with teams or sponsors.
  • Must maintain neutrality, transparency, and professional behavior.
  • Violations may lead to impeachment by a two-thirds board vote.

B. For Players

Eligibility:
  • Only corporate employees or freelancers with valid ID proof.
  • Must not be under a professional cricket contract.
Conduct:
  • Must respect fellow players, umpires, and rules of the game.
  • No verbal abuse, aggressive behavior, or code of conduct violation.
  • Zero tolerance for match-fixing or performance-enhancing drugs.
Participation:
  • Players must attend scheduled matches on time.
  • Teams must maintain minimum squad strength and proper uniform.
Dispute Resolution:
  • Any issues must be reported to the UCCAU Ethics Officer.
  • Final decisions rest with the UCCAU Board.
  • Any legal activity will not be transferred outside of Uttarakhand.

5. Security & Safety

We adhere to players security and safety as our top priority.

All tournament venues must meet safety standards and have proper medical facilities.

Players are required to wear appropriate protective gear during matches.

Emergency contact information must be provided by all participants.

Any safety concerns must be immediately reported to tournament officials.
